The University maintains agreements on student exchange and double degrees with its 200 partner universities, including German-taught degree programmes in Russia and Hungary. This gives our students a significant number of opportunities to go out into the world and gather valuable international experiences.
Our graduates agree, that the University of Passau prepares students for an international career: More than one-third of Passau's students spends at least one semester abroad. The Vice President for International Relations, Ursula Reutner, said: 'The University wishes to continue to promote international mobility among its students. Whether you intend to go to Europe or the U.S., Brazil, China, India, Russia, Australia or elsewhere: the University's International Day can help you pick out the right opportunities for studying or working abroad – and you can save time doing so, as everything is packed into one single day.'
University staff and students as well as representatives from external institutions will give presentations on the International Day; you can also ask your questions and discuss your plans for studying or working abroad individually with contact persons at the provided information stands. Last but not least, the International Day programme will include information on funding options.
