This is how it works in the 2025/26 winter semester:
Registration on the website: September 29th to October 19th
Kick-off: October 23, 6 p.m., ISA: Team building, Q&A
Start of volunteering: First planning meeting with project partners, date to be agreed
Interim check: Brief feedback to the AYCD team
Conclusion: Share experiences at the final event
Recognition: Document your hours in the AYCD Pass, fill out an online reflection form, and receive an AYCD certificate for your resume

All You Can Do (AYCD) is a program run by International Support Services at the University of Passau. Its aim is to support students in getting involved in society, contributing to the community, and developing their personal and professional skills.
AYCD is open to all students at the University of Passau – locals, internationals, undergraduate or graduate.
No previous experience required, no need for strong German Skills.
You just need curiosity, commitment and enough time according to the project.
You will find out which project and team you have been assigned to in the second week of lectures via email.

✔ Developing skills: You gain practical experience in intercultural teamwork, intercultural communication, and project management.
✔ Networking: You work with students from all over the world and at the same time establish contacts with local organizations.

✔ Real-life language practice: At AYCD, you can practice speaking German and English, and sometimes even Bavarian.

No. AYCD helps you find volunteer opportunities with local organizations. It works like a volunteer platform, but with guidance and support throughout the semester. This means you volunteer for the poject’s cooperation partner.
Yes. After completing the project and attending the AYCD final event, you must: answer the concluding inquiry form (online) and send us the AYCD Pass by e-mail, a document where you specify the number of hours volunteereed. After this, you will recieve your certificate.
Yes, but these projects are marked as such. For all other projects, German is not a prerequisite and you don't need to feel inhibited. Nevertheless, AYCD is the perfect opportunity to lose your fear of speaking German.
Yes, but only in designated service learning projects with ECTS credits. You can discuss the details with the respective lecturer or your program coordinator. More info here
