The schedule for the winter semester 2026/27 is as follows:
AYCD Certificate and/ or ECTS Recognition
AYCD can document the hours you complete as part of a project and issue an AYCD certificate for your CV or résumé. AYCD does not award ECTS credits. Whether your project can be recognized for ECTS credits depends on the regulations of your degree program.

If you would like to have a project recognized that is not marked with ECTS in the project database, please discuss this with your degree program coordinator before starting the project.
To receive your AYCD certificate, document your completed hours in the AYCD Pass and complete the online reflection form.
AYCD is open to all students at the University of Passau – locals, internationals, undergraduate or graduate.
No previous experience required, no need for strong German Skills.
You just need curiosity, commitment and enough time according to the project.

You will find out which project and team you have been assigned to in the second week of lectures via email.
