Important notice for 1st-semester students regarding exam registrations

When you start out on your degree programme, you are studying in accordance with the study and examination regulations in effect at the time. New regulations are issued from time to time, but you will usually continue studying according to your "StuPO version" until the end of your degree studies. This winter semester, a number of new FStuPOs (subject-specific study and examination regulations) have come into force, which affects new students in their first Fachsemester. Specifically, the following degree programmes have new FStuPO versions:

| Reading time: 1 min.

  • B.Sc. Business Administration and Economics (FStuPO – B.Sc. BAE, version 20232)
  • B.Sc. Information Systems (FStuPO – B.Sc. WI, version 20232)
  • M.Sc. International Economics and Business (FStuPO – M.Sc. IEB, version 20232)
  • B.A. Media and Communication (FStuPO – B.A. MuK, version 20232)
  • M.A. History and Society (FStuPO – M.A. GUG, version 2023)

Although the exam registration period for all degree programmes started on 20 November, the exam registration period is delayed for these programmes due to system-related issues. If you are a first-semester student on one of the above degree programmes, your exam registration period for winter semester 2023–24 starts on 18 December 2023 and ends on 15 January 2024. Please note that this delayed exam registration deadline coincides with the final deadline for withdrawing from previously registered exams (i.e. you will no longer be able to de-register from these exams after 15 January).
