The topic of this year's conference is: "RESILIENCE: LIFTING OURSELVES UP JUST ONE MORE TIME, EVERY TIME"
Despite the initial shock of the invasion and the attempt to put all their energy into the war effort, Ukrainians quickly discovered that life had to go on. Coming to terms with the harrowing experiences they are constantly exposed to and living a normal life against the backdrop of the brutality of war is sometimes an insurmountable challenge.
By now, Ukrainians seem to be experts in developing resilience, but how do they actually do it? Some practices have evolved on their own, springing from the simple need to band together in the face of danger. Others require a little more expertise and training, but are definitely worth the effort, especially in view of the far-reaching consequences for the general well-being of their nation.
Students from the Ukrainian Catholic University will explore these questions and try to explain what resilience is, how to build it and how to benefit from it - to better understand themselves and share it with others.
