Residence permit applications: document pre-checking service
The International Support Services Section offers a document pre-checking and forwarding service for your residence permit applications (for both first-time applications and extensions). Students from non-European-Union countries must have a valid residence permit to legally reside in Germany. We highly recommend that you take advantage of this offer.
The next pre-check will be taking place on 4 June. The checks are held every Tuesday, from 12:30 to 15:00 at ITZ 005. Please note that the pre-check on 4 June will be taking place at ISA 008!
Please sign up for an individual appointment via Luise Haack's Stud.IP profile. This is where you will also find all the pre-check dates for the entire semester as well as details on the required documents and forms. Although the response time has improved, we strongly recommend starting the application process at least 6 to 8 weeks before your visa or residence permit expires. In case of inquiries or problems, exchange students should write to exchangestudents@uni-passau.de and international degree-seeking students to istudicoach@uni-passau.de.
