KIMoNo ideas competitions
As part of the BMVi-sponsored KIMoNo consortium project, the KINECT working group was involved in the implementation of three ideas competitions to promote suitable projects for accompanying research. In particular this was aimed at research related to the application of AI methods to future mobility concepts, but also at general interdisciplinary AI research questions. The latest call for papers ended on 24 March 2021.
Four projects are receiving funding:
- Learning Precedence Relations with Interviews: Optimization Approaches (Learn2WIn), PI: Professor Alena Otto
- QUality, operability and VAlidity of data in road traffic from a legal perspective (Quo Vadis) [German text], PI: Professor Kai von Lewinski
- Machines in Decision Making: Algorithm Aversion and Procedural Transparency, PI: Dr Malte Möller
- Mobile Dignity Concepts (MoWo) – AI-supported Analysis of Historical Justification Structures and Contexts of Use, PI: Professor Ulrike Müßig
