PICAIS is a scientific centre of the University in the field of interdisciplinary and international top-level research, located under the umbrella of research and junior researcher promotion. The focus is on the promotion and networking of research along the strategic thematic priorities of the University of Passau. It offers two funding programmes in the area of international fellowships/guest residencies and interdisciplinary project and event ideas that break new ground thematically and/or methodologically. This year marks the fourth and fifth rounds of selection.
The application deadlines for 2023/2024 for PICAIS grant applications are: Wednesday, March 15, 2023, and Tuesday, October 17, 2023. Please refer to the PICAIS English-language website, especially for information on funding opportunities and modalities.
