In normal times, you run into people - and make new friends - soon after arriving on campus. In a digital semester, those happy encounters are harder to come by. That's why we're now inviting you to a new virtual social space.
The social space uses Wonder, a web service with a friendly and playful user interface, designed to make informal, social encounters easier. When you enter a Wonder room, you can form bubbles of conversation with others, similar to the way Breakout Rooms work in Zoom. However, you can choose which bubbles to join and move from conversation to conversation easily, all while seeing who else is in the Wonder Room at the time.
