The International Support Services Section offers "Briefs About Academic Writing" to teach international students the basics of academic writing, the formal requirements for a dissertation/thesis and what professors expect to see in a good dissertation/thesis. The briefs serve as an introduction to the core aspects of scientific work. In each session, a group of master's degree students, who are at a more advanced stage of their respective programme, present a different topic on academic writing. At the end of each session, any unanswered questions of any kind are discussed, whether they are of a general nature or specific to your term paper/dissertation/thesis. The briefs are held in English.
