Residence permit applications – new document pre-check appointments
The International Support Services Section offers a document pre-checking and forwarding service for your residence permit applications (for both first-time applications and extensions). Students from non-European-Union countries must have a valid residence permit to legally reside in Germany.
The International Support Services Section now offers regular consultation days – currently every Monday and Wednesday – where you can book your appointment. To do so, visit Ms Luise Haack's Stud.IP profile page. There you will also find information on which documents you need to submit and which forms to fill in. Do not leave it too late! We strongly recommend that you start the application process 8 to 12 weeks before the expiry date of your current visa or residence permit.
If you have any questions or problems, write to exchangestudents@uni-passau.de if you are an exchange student or istudicoach@uni-passau.de if you are an international degree-seeking student.
