The University of Passau’s own ‘iStudi Coach and iStudi Pass’ project sparked a great amount of interest at the ‘Study & Work’ initiative’s final conference in Berlin as it presented a conclusive framework as well as attractive and worthwhile events to help integrate qualified international students into the German job market.
The ‘iStudi Coach and iStudi Pass’ project, sponsored by the nationwide ‘Study & Work’ initiative, is an orientation programme offering counselling for international degree-seeking students at the University of Passau. The ‘iStudi Pass’ programme prepares international students for navigating the German job market by offering company presentations and networking events as well as seminars about:
- Job seeking and applications
- Intercultural skills
- Social networks
- Language skills
- Successful graduation
The ‘Study & Work’ initiative has been instigated by the Federal Ministry for Economic Affairs and Energy and the ‘Stiftverband’ for German Sciences.
