Bridge Scholarships for Palestinians

We would like to draw your attention to the newly relaunched DAAD scholarship program 'Bridging Scholarships for Palestinians in Germany' (Cohort II). The program is designed to support qualified Palestinians—especially from the Gaza Strip—who are currently in Germany and unable to return to their homeland due to the current situation, in starting or continuing their careers in Germany.

With this scholarship offer, the DAAD is this time addressing Palestinian Bachelor’s and Master’s students who wish to receive support for their studies at a public or state-recognized university in Germany, as well as doctoral candidates, postdoctoral researchers, and university lecturers who seek support for their doctoral studies or a research project at a public or state-recognized university or non-university research institution in Germany.

The bridging scholarships, which last a minimum of one month and a maximum of four months, can be taken up as early as December 2024 and must be completed by March 2025 at the latest. Applications can be submitted through our online application portal from now until October 15, 2024.

For further important information regarding application requirements and procedures, please refer to the call for applications for the 'Bridging Scholarships for Palestinians in Germany' or contact the DAAD with any questions at the email address palestinians@DAAD.de.
