Standing committee for the investigation of allegations of academic misconduct

The standing committee for the investigation of allegations of academic misconduct is appointed by the University senate. Upon their request, the committee supports ombudspersons with their investigations into any suspected cases of academic misconduct.

This investigative committee comprises of three University of Passau professors with research experience as well as one (ideally postdoctoral) representative for early career researchers and artists. A deputy is appointed for each member of the committee to safeguard availability and neutrality.
