Reporting an accident for statutory accident insurance

As an enrolled student, you are covered by statutory accident insurance for any activities that are related to your degree studies and have a direct connection to the university and its organisational units. For instance, you are eligible for compensatory payments under the municipal accident insurance scheme if you have an accident on your way to a lecture, while studying at the university library etc. What is important is that the accident occurred during an activity that was related to your degree studies and officially sanctioned by the University.

The statutory health insurance is administered by Bayerische Landesunfallkasse, Leopoldstr. 71, 80805 Munich

Reporting an accident

If you are an enrolled student and have to report an accident, please do so at the Student Registration Office, located in the ground floor of the Administration Building, Innstrasse 41. You will have to fill in an accident report form, which the Student Registration Office will forward to the Landesunfallkasse.
