Intercultural Gatherings during Summer Semester 2023

Students from the University of Passau meet regularly to gain insights into other countries and cultures and to meet interesting new people. In a relaxed environment, students exchange ideas about traditions in different regions of the world or simply have fun together. So at every meeting you not only learn something new about other cultures, but also about your own country.

This semester we can finally meet in person and get to know each other! We are looking forward to seeing you at our events!

IKB in Summer Semester 2023

What is IKB?
IKB is a project to bring international students and native speakers together through a series of cultural events.

What is the programme for this semester?
During the summer semester 23, IKB will work with three university student groups to organise unique cultural events.

Which university groups are working with IKB?
Together with Deutsch Franzöisch Kulturwerkstark , IKB will discover French culture. Learn more about Czech Republich and Solvak with the Communitas Bohemica and Nippon HSG will introduce us to Japanese traditions .

How often are IKB events organised?
Every fortnight. The programme for the respective month is always published during the previous month with all the necessary information.

Hey foodies and culture enthusiasts!

We're bringing you a night of fun, food, and a culinary competition. You'll have the chance to learn all about Czech eating habits and traditional cuisine while indulging in authentic Czech snacks and drinks.

But wait, there's more! The real adventure begins as we dive into the ultimate cook-off challenge to create the most mouthwatering Czech "chlebíček"!

So join us on this unforgettable journey of exploring and immersing ourselves in Czech culture. Trust us, you won't want to miss out on this epic adventure!
