Assertiveness training in October: places are still available

There are still free places in the October assertiveness training courses for the following dates:

• Assertiveness training for all – beginners' course on 8 October (Stud.IP code 69012 A) from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m.

This workshop will focus on theory. You will be discussing potentially threatening situations which may have been experienced by participants in the past, as well as the description of one's own fears of such situations. The trainer, Ms Blöchl, will take on board individual examples and point out legal options for when you find yourself in such a situation. There will also be verbal exercises for boosting your self-confidence.

• Assertiveness training for all – advanced courses on 8 October (Stud.IP code 69013 A) and on 15 October (Stud.IP code 69011 C) from 2 to 5 p.m.

The advanced workshop is more hands-on, i.e. you will be shown self-defence techniques. No prior knowledge is necessary!
