City tour: "Jewish Life in Passau"

The University's Archives and Records Section and the Executive Support Unit for Diversity and Gender Equality cordially invite you to join us on a city tour showcasing Jewish Life in Passau. The tour will take place on 27 January 2023, the day of remembrance of the victims of Nazism [please note that this tour will be offered in German].

During the tour, you will learn about the history and way of life of Jews in Passau from our own university archivist and historian, Mario Puhane, who will show you the main places and sites of importance to Jewish life in Passau. The tour starts at 2 p.m. in the Ilzstadt at the bus stop next to the St. Salvator church at the mouth of Ferdinand-Wagner-Strasse (near the Ilz bridge/Bschütt car park) and ends around 5 p.m. on the University campus.
