2023
With the seamless handover of the project in January 2023, the University of Passau's new student garden has now replaced the urban gardening demo garden. The expansion with three new raised beds has not only visually enhanced the area, but now also offers more space for versatile mixed cultivation. The new concept "by students - for students" is being driven forward with the active support of the university's sustainability group. A green oasis for our sustainable campus is gradually being created through joint gardening activities. In addition to the joy of gardening and a connection with nature, the main aim is to awaken interest in the possibilities of regional food production in terms of sustainable food security.
Nature is back on campus!
