Donation barometer of the University of Passau

Co-operation with the Friends and Sponsors Association of the University of Passau

By participating in the surveys, you not only contribute to the improvement of the University of Passau, but also directly support students in need!

In order to ensure and improve the quality of study and teaching at the University of Passau, students and graduates are asked to provide a wide range of information in the centralised, University-wide surveys (for new students, students close to graduation and graduates respectively).

For the time and effort responders put into answering the survey, the Friends and Sponsors Association of the University of Passau has pledged to donate 2 euros to scholarships for students facing hardship for every questionnaire completed by new students, current students and graduates. Students facing hardship can obtain a one-time stipend of up to 300 euros from these funds.

Applicants can apply for the scholarship from now until 31 July!

"Thanks to the support from the University of Passau's donation barometer, I was able to purchase the legal texts I needed to prepare for my exams. It was particularly important for me to be able to concentrate fully on my studies without financial worries. This support illustrates how valuable the donation barometer is for students in crucial phases of their studies."

"I was very pleased to receive it and it was also a great support to me in my day-to-day studies. I think this is a very good thing that is very valuable for students in need."

"I am very grateful for the support that the donation barometer has given me in the form of a scholarship. Of course, this doesn't enable me to make any great leaps, but the scholarship has had a huge impact on me. With this payment, I would like to pay the semester contribution, which has increased again and is a non-negligible financial burden for me every semester. Thanks to the donation barometer of the Friends and Sponsors Association of the University of Passau and the numerous survey participants, I don't have to worry about this financial hurdle right at the beginning of the year and can start the next semester with more peace of mind."
