Mandatory requirements are: nothing (but the bonus was that I had experience with HTML/CSS and Salesforce CRM)
Necessary soft skills: Teamwork, Time Management, Communication, Stress Management
What I like most: My team, different projects, traveling for work, free trainings and certifications, having a mentor
Most exciting challenge so far: Remember and structure everything I am learning
Don‘t get discouraged by: Not having experience and knowledge, or feeling alone and overwhelmed
My job is especially suitable for people studying: Anything. You just need the motivation to learn
Brief job description:
The following terminology is part of my work life: Project Management, Agile Principles, Scrum, technical and strategical configuration, Marketing Automation, Enablement Sessions, Certifications, Training, traveling, and Timesheets. As a consultant, I work for clients and projects with the aim to automate and enhance their marketing processes. For that, we use Salesforce products such as Marketing Cloud and Pardot. They both are marketing automation tools for B2B and B2C companies. We as consultants help them to enable Marketing Cloud in a way, that their marketing processes run smoothly and automatically. Our team consists of Project Managers, Scrum Masters, Consultants, and Developers. A great bonus for me is that even learning, traveling, and taking part in events are part of the work. I am right now learning to become a Developer and have a mentor at work.
