Gast: Dr. Vladyslava Moskalets, Ukrainian Catholic University & Centre for Urban History of East-Central Europe, Lviv.
Person: Associate Professor at the Ukrainian Catholic University (Lviv) and researcher at the Center for Urban History (Lviv). Vladyslava Moskalets studies Jewish social history, focusing on issues of elite transition, intercultural relations, social mobility in 19th-century Habsburg Galicia, Yiddish reportage literature. She is an active public historian, publishing popular articles and blogs in Ukrainian media. Since 2015, together with her husband Tomasz Jankowski, she is the co-founder of the genealogy company "Jewish Family Search".
